SIPAG Recognition Day held

After finishing twelve sessions of Simula ng Pag-asa (SIPAG) program, 435 recovery fighters out of the listed 955 drug dependents, graduated at Barangay Payocpoc Sur Covered Court, October 21 receiving their certificates of completion.

SIPAG program aims of addressing the emotional physiological, relational and spiritual issues confronting drug dependents and their family members.
Philippine National Police (PNP) headed by PC Insp. Joel P. Lagto, joined efforts with Bauang LGU headed by Mayor Eulogio Clarence Martin P. de Guzman III, Bauang Evangelical Ministry Association (BEMA) and Jesus is Lord (JIL).

SIPAG Inculcates into the minds of drug dependents that there is more meaning in life rather than in drug abuse.

Mayor Martin, Vice Mayor Bonifacio Malinao Sr. and COP Lagto delivered their messages.

IO3 Darnel L. Bacate of RO1 Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency was the guest of honor and speaker. Bishop Jun Tarlit inspired and encouraged the graduates by giving the words of God. SIPAG Regional Director Rex Yusi gave his motivation message.

Other guests during the graduation were the Sangguniang Bayan Members of Bauang, barangay officials, BEMA personnel, JIL, recovery fighters and their families.
